Dr. Anthony Moscati
Dr. Moscati has over 23 years experience in the environmental field as a manager and technical specialist. His background includes extensive work in the evaluation of risks to human health and the environment resulting from exposure to contamination from a broad range of industrial properties and process effluents. He has designed and managed complex multi-pathway risk assessments aimed at quantifying risks associated with the release of a variety of organic and inorganic compounds. Particular contaminants evaluated have included: the carcinogenic metals, including arsenic, beryllium, hexavalent chromium, cadmium, and lead; other metals such as antimony, barium, mercury, silver and thallium; asbestos; acid gasses; organic compounds including trichloroethane, trichloroethylene, dichloroethane, bis(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate, trichlorobenzene; various polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), PCBs and dioxins.
While Dr. Moscati's background is primarily in the field of hazardous waste management with special emphasis on waste combustion systems, he also has collateral expertise in air pollution control and wastewater treatment. In his career in hazardous waste management, he has managed significant assignments for both industry and government, including multi-year, multi-million dollar site investigations and remediations carried out under RCRA, CERCLA, and TSCA.
