Dr. Anthony Moscati

Accomplishments

Since creating Seneca Environmental in 1994, Dr. Moscati has carried out numerous assignments. In an assignment that lasted from November, 1993 until June, 1997 he served, on a part-time basis, as Technical Director for the Association for Responsible Thermal Treatment, a Washington-based trade association representing commercial hazardous waste incineration companies. In this capacity he provided comparative technical analyses of the operating practices of hazardous waste burning incinerators and cement kilns in the U.S. and represented the group's viewpoint before EPA and other Federal agencies as well as several State legislatures.

In a major project for CSX Transportation he was the subject matter expert assisting in development of a multi-media training program in environmental compliance for the railroad's more than 30,000 employees. Major topics covered included battery recycling to recover heavy metals, waste oil recycling, proper handling and disposal of hazardous waste and spill prevention and response. Other activities have involved providing expert witness services to both industry and environmental organizations in combustion-related litigation.
