Specialty Chemical Manufacturer

SEA served as a RCRA/CERCLA regulatory expert in a case involving numerous regulatory compliance issues. Prepared a draft Expert Report in a case involving closure, groundwater monitoring, site investigation, corrective action and enforcement actions at waste management and tank units at a major specialty chemical manufacturer. Also investigated status of government knowledge of groundwater contamination by waste disposal practices. Report was used to counter plaintiff’s argument that RCRA compliance is the function equivalent of a CERCLA action. Also analyzed plaintiff's Expert Report and developed questions and strategy for their Deposition. Case is currently pending.
